If you love having flowers around your home chances are you are always washing vases. I know I love decorating my living room with fresh flowers which is why I decided I should find an effective and easy way to clean my vases.
If they look dirty then the whole appeal of having fresh flowers in a beautiful vase would basically go down the drain, right?
Baking soda and vinegar are coming to the rescue
Once again baking soda and vinegar are my best friend when it comes to cleaning. They are literally the tools I rely on when cleaning my home so why not incorporate them in the vase cleaning process?
All you need to do is pour some vinegar in the vase you want to clean then sprinkle baking soda in there. Grab an old toothbrush or a brush and gently scrub the inside and the outside of the vase.
Once you are done you need to rinse it and you are done.
Not only will the vase be clean but it will also be free of any germs as well as odours.
The baking soda is a great way to get rid of any bad smells and I use it all over my house. I even use it to remove bad odours from my upholstery – I simply sprinkle my couch, leave the baking soda overnight then vacuum it.
The vinegar will disinfect the vase and will get rid of any germs.
